A massive repository for Rift-related and other esoteric knowledge. This temple is more akin to a library, housing thousands of books recovered from settlements lost to the Tempest. Acolytes of Throat (called ‘pupils’) tend to the library and worship in the central chapel. While the library is a holy space, they are more than welcoming to anyone who arrives on their doorstep seeking knowledge, and encourage bettering oneself through learning. Originally built within an actual temple, the library has expanded many times over the past few centuries. The many additions to the original building make for a strange labyrinth of halls and unusual organizational system that only the pupils of the library seem to truly understand.
Restrictions: Any non-Throatians must be seekers of knowledge of some kind, whether for the benefit of the library or their own ambitions.
Distinct visuals: Pupils of the library wear a badge of the school’s symbol, a bright blue eye. Throatian followers will also display their spiral holy symbols.

Interim Headmaster Credall Surrey: Human-base Lacuna, male, Throat worshipper, 40s (looks older). At his hidden core he believes that someday he might learn enough about the world to stop fearing it. (Hasn’t happened yet.)
Seer Reverie: Elf-base Lacuna, female, middle aged, Throatian cleric. While Credall oversees The Myopic Eye as a whole, Reverie is the devout Throatian who holds sermons and guides the worshippers of Throat.
Head Librarian Bex: Dwarf, nonbinary, young adult, agnostic, rogue. Recently a promising Pupil, they were appointed head librarian for their excellent memory and library navigation skills.
