The Golden Forest (Taure’malda in the Elven tongue) is the name commonly given to the forests surrounding the remains of the once great Elvish lands. The trees are still beautiful, but the untamed wilds can be treacherous for those not native to the lands, and even those who grew up in these woods stick to familiar paths and do not stray. All manner of beast and monster have made their homes here in the Golden Forest, and its beauty is in stark contrast to the dangers of nature left to run free.
Local Legend: It is believed that at times the many manifestations of Nature walk the earth here, facets and personifications of the Walks or primordial beings that have little regard for mortal concerns.
Typical Threats: All manner of wildlife range these forests. Some Giants have taken to the largest of trees, making homes amongst their immense boughs, staying wary of roaming Centaur and plantfolk below.
